ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES OFFICER, NORTHERN FLINDERS

Duties: The Administrative Services Officer is accountable to the District Ranger Northern Flinders for contributing to the effective management of the Northern Flinders District, Outback Region, by providing a range of administrative services.  This will include reconciliation of money, reception, bookings, record keeping and secretarial duties for the Northern Flinders District Team.

 

Special Conditions: Located at Wilpena in the Flinders Ranges National Park. Some out of hours and intra‑state travel may be required. Current Driver’s licence and willingness to drive is essential. May be required to contribute to emergency operations in the event of bushfire or other emergencies. Departmental housing is not available at Wilpena, but may be available at Hawker, 65km south of Wilpena.  This position is temporary for up to 12 months, and may be extended to 30/08/07.

Duties: The Administration Officer is one of a number of Administration Officers who are accountable to the relevant Team Leader for the provision of administrative support to the Perpetual Lease Accelerated Freeholding Project, through the efficient and effective performance of a range of administrative processes associated with the project.  These processes, include receipt of application forms, processing and receipting of payments for application fees and purchase money, follow up of outstanding documents, issuing and maintenance of Real Property Act Titles, by searching and retrieving title information from a range of databases, lodgement of document processes, maintaining database systems, retrieving and copying Crown Leases, distribution of retrieved information, etc., all of which contribute to the smooth transition to freehold titles, of previously owned Government land occupied under perpetual lease.

Duties: Responsible for providing a range of efficient, effective and confidential reception and administrative services that supports the project officer roles within Pandemic Influenza.  Responsibilities also include undertaking minor research and project work and assistance in co‑ordinating education sessions/events.  These functions will result in contributing to the efficient and effective conduct of team activities.
